Maud is a psychotherapist, but her full-time job is "motherhood and being a wife". Her part-time occupation gives her opportunity to serve her community through the Ojai Educational Foundation board, Villanova School's Rotary Interact group support of an orphanage in Mexico, and "Service Above Self" in Rotary. She finds that "Doing for others is really doing for herself." Her treasure is the people with whom she works.
John also enjoys a flexible work schedule that allows him to be able to volunteer for things that can make a difference in the community and the world. John coaches and works with the children of the Valley, was the president of the Nordhoff Parent Association, has followed the Presbyterians down to Tijuana where they built houses for people, went to India to participate in Rotary's bid to eradicate Polio through National Immunization Days, and serves tirelessly in his Rotary Club of Ojai West.
