Dr. Gross will share his passion for sharing and caring by coordinating a small group visit to a Mexican orphanage that is near and dear to his heart.

David, a 1996 Ojai Valley Living Treasure, is the Postmaster for Oak View, California. David has been active with many community projects over the last 8 years which include Speaker Contest Chairman, Flag Day Chairman, Peace Poster Chairman and assisting children and their families in obtaining medical examinations and eyeglasses.
David's program in 1996 emphasized mentoring high school youth that needed guidance and assistance discovering their future potential. David says he is, "all about doing the right thing with his skills, abilities and body". He is available to assist any organization that has a need. David truly believes, "that all of us are Living Treasures. When we assist, educate, and reach out to help each other, we improve our community, state, country and world."
Eleanor Brown

Eleanor is one of the originators of Spa Cuisine, Eleanor has been the food consultant to the Oaks at Ojai for over 25 years. She has written 7 publications on low calorie cooking, four of which, are still in print; "Recipes for Fitness for Very Busy People", "The Ultimate Recipe for Fitness with Sheila Cluff", "New Favorite Recipes From the Oaks at Ojai and the Palms at Palm Springs", "Healthy cooking for Singles and Doubles.
Eleanor has taught yoga for over 50 years and has developed a chair yoga class which she teaches at the Oaks and the Presbyterian Church. Eleanor is offering to lead a 30 to 45 minute chair yoga class and/or presentations on healthy cooking for singles and doubles, specifically, "How to Eat Healthfully When you Live Alone or With Just One Other Person".

Patricia Fry

Patricia is a 5th generation Ojai resident. She has been writing for publications since 1973 having penned "The Ojai Valley: An Illustrated History". She also writes articles for a variety of national magazines. Patricia is the president of SPAWN (Small Publishers, Artists and Writers' Network), a commissioner on the Ojai Historic Preservation Committee and a mentor for a lovely 13-year-old girl through the Ojai Valley Youth Foundation.
Patricia's program for Living Treasures is called Write for Life. She offers a "how to" experience to individuals or groups interested in writing nonfiction for publication. Topics include: how to self-publish, how to conduct article research, how to market, and writing as a career. She is also available to speak on local history, writing and basic speaking skills.
Richard Gould, M.D.

Rick has been an Ojai resident since 1972. A medical doctor by profession, Rich has served the community as a family physician. He has a broad range of interests, including Ojai Festivals (past President), Ojai Rotary West, Special Children's Foundation, The Center for Earth Concerns, Living Treasures and making videos. He is married to Cindi and has three children, Maile, Tamara and David.
Dr. Gould is willing to share his life experiences and how to solve problems. His 1996 program dealt with empowering individuals to tackle problems in the community, school, workplace, life in general, and developing techniques for bringing such problems to a successful conclusion.
