Born in Toronto, Canada, Sheila was married at 18 and has four sons.  She was  co-founder of Park Century School for Learning Disabilities where she worked for 10 years and is now a Board member.  An active mother in Boy Scouts, Little League and soccer, Sheila also sang in her temple choir.     
 
She is married to her second husband, Sidney, a widower with four children. Together they have 14 grand-children with the 15th on the way.  She has been a travel consultant for 23 years and is currently serving as President of the Jewish Community of the Oaks.
 
As president of the Jewish Community of the Oaks, Sheila will continue to initiate, expand and supervise new programs such as the preschool, the interfaith program, compassionate service to the ill, holiday program celebrations and chairing the Board of Directors.  In addition, she
will speak to senior groups about the benefits of volunteerism to mental health.
