BIOGRAPHY: Barbara De Noon, MSW, ACSW. Barbara is a long time Ojai resident. She has a Masters in Social Work (MSW, ACSW) and is very active in our Ojai community. Barbara serves as a Commissioner on the Parks and Recreation Commission and was the Chairperson of the committee that worked for over 7 years to bring a skateboard park to Ojai.  Barbara also started a pet therapy program for senior citizens in Ojai almost 30 years ago, and it is still going strong. The committee takes kittens and puppies from the Humane Society each week to the various convalescent homes to help cheer and heal the elderly.

PROGRAM: Barbara is currently offering a writing class weekly on Thursdays from 10-12:00 at Little House. All ages are welcome. Topics include poetry, novels, short stories, diaries or any other writing project you have in progress. The class members all participate in giving feedback and support.
